Sheetmetal Fabricator
Bendigo Sheetmetal is a family run business that prides itself on providing high-quality stainless steel, aluminium, iron, and alloy products. We are a leading provider of quality sheet metalwork designs, fabrications, installations, and repairs throughout Bendigo and surrounding areas. We operate Monday to Friday.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced sheetmetal worker to join our team. We operate high quality equipment, and deliver high quality products to our customers.
You will be responsible for:
- General sheetmetal manufacturing
- Cutting, folding and rolling of materials
- Operation of machinery and equipment
- inspecting final product to ensure high quality workmanship,
- Undertaking required equipment maintenance, including the identification of and correcting/reporting machine faults,
- Abide by Safety Policies and Procedures including hazard reporting, and general housekeeping of work environment
To be successful you will have:
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Trade Qualification (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience and competency in Sheetmetal fabrication
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
- You will demonstrate high level organisation, planning and reporting and the ability to integrate into a team environment
- Ability to draw and interpret plans and specifications
Slitter / Folder operator
Bendigo Sheetmetal is a well established, family run business that prides itself on providing high-quality Steel and Aluminium products throughout Bendigo and surrounding areas.
We operate Monday - Friday 8.00am-4.30pm.
We are looking for an experienced slitter folder operator to operate our brand new computerized Jorns Duplex slitter folder.
- Attractive remuneration for the correct applicant.
- Good working conditions.
- Forklift license preferred but not essential. (will be provided to correct applicant)
- Uniform and boots provided.
- Free lunch supplied Fridays.
